Get the browser extension

Free on the Chrome Web Store — autofill logins, save new ones as you browse, and generate strong passwords.

Works in Chrome, Brave, Edge, Opera, and Vivaldi. Updates install automatically.

Chrome, Brave, Edge, Opera, Vivaldi

  1. 1Open the KeepInVault listing on the Chrome Web Store.
  2. 2Click Add to Chrome (or Get), then confirm with Add extension.
  3. 3KeepInVault appears in your extensions menu — pin it for quick access.

In Edge, click Allow extensions from other stores when asked. In Opera, install its Install Chrome Extensions add-on first.

Firefox

  1. 1Download the extension (.zip), then unzip it — you'll get a folder.
  2. 2Open about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox.
  3. 3Choose Load Temporary Add-on → select any file inside the unzipped folder.

Firefox only allows signed extensions to install permanently, so this stays loaded for the current session and clears on restart. We'll publish to addons.mozilla.org so this becomes a one-click, permanent install — until then, repeat these steps each session.

Safari

Not available yet — Safari requires extensions to ship inside a signed, notarized macOS/iOS app via the App Store, which isn't set up for this build. It's on the roadmap.
